Elizabethtown College Launches Make A Deposit, Make A Difference Enrollment Campaign
Recently, Elizabethtown College launched the Make A Deposit, Make A Difference campaign to provide donations to local non-profits supporting the health and wellbeing needs and resources of the Elizabethtown-area community, and aligning with the College’s motto, Educate for Service. The College will match 100 percent of all deposits made by students between April 4 and 10 with an overarching goal of donating $5,000.
“This enrollment campaign demonstrates the generosity of our college community,” Elizabethtown College Vice President for Enrollment Management John F. Champoli said. “There is no better way to welcome our newest Blue Jays to our family than by sharing with them our passion for serving others—especially at a time when our community needs it most.”
The College’s motto Educate for Service was adopted in 1915. Educate for Service expresses the College campus community’s belief that the pursuit of knowledge is most noble when used to benefit others.
“Everyone is looking for inspiration right now, and while many of us are learning and working remotely, this campaign is fulfilling our campus community’s desire to help others,” Champoli said.
