Fly into the Study Abroad Fair at Elizabethtown College
E-town’s study abroad program doubles the number of affiliations giving students more opportunities to go to six out of the seven continents. The department has now put a program matching quiz on their website to make the decision process even easier. There are also four new scholarships available to students making about 34 scholarships in varying amounts. Megan Bell, the study abroad advisor, will also be at the fair to discuss the opportunities right at your fingertips.
The College’s Financial Aid Office and the Business Office will be available at the fair to discuss how they can help. The College’s program cut their affiliated fee in half making it easier than ever for students to travel! The scholarships include E-town first-generation abroad, E-town stem broad, E-town diversity abroad and so much more. The College also includes country-specific and language-specific scholarships for students as well. The program offers scholarships for summer, semester and year-long students studying abroad!
Matthew Smith, a junior history major at Elizabethtown College, is currently studying in Amman, Jordan, diving into the culture and exploring every chance he gets.
“You can’t experience the world by sitting in your dorm room,” Smith said. “The world is the best classroom, and it’s always looking for more students. Travel and study abroad with an open mind. You can learn so much by speaking to a person over a meal in their home. By bridging cultures, we can all understand each other a little more and make the world a better place.”
