2015 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll with Distinction

It has been announced that Elizabethtown College has been named to the 2015 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll with Distinction.

The President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll recognizes institutions of higher education that support exemplary community service programs and raise the visibility of effective practices in campus community partnerships.

The Corporation for National and Community Service has administered the award since 2006 in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, as well as the American Council on Education, Campus Compact and the Interfaith Youth Core.   

Elizabethtown College has been named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll every year since 2006; the last three years have been with distinction.

E.A. (Elizabeth) Harvey is the communications manager and news editor at Elizabethtown College. She has worked in the Office of Marketing and Communications since 2008, after more than two decades as a newspaper feature writer. She holds a bachelor's degree in corporate communication from Elizabethtown College.
