Dr. April Kelly-Woessner, professor of political science and Department Chair, wrote a column on free speech for the Dec. 6 LNP opinion page.

Dr. Kyle C. Kopko, assistant professor of political science and director of the Pre-Law and Honors programs, was featured in the New York Times for his research on the Presidential Medal of Freedom with Dr. Fletcher McClellan, Dr. Christopher Devine of Mount Vernon Nazarene University, and Jillian Casey ’13 and Julia Ward ’13 (both of Georgetown University Law Center).

Caroline Lalvani, director of Elizabethtown Community Affairs and College Special Events, was interviewed by LNP for a preview about the spring Ware Lecture featuring Kim Phuc.

Dr. Richard Newton, assistant professor of religious studies, was interviewed for the Dec. 10 Penn Live story and video on the College’s Six Voices program. He also spoke with LNP for an article on the spirituality of the movie Star Wars.

Andrew Powell, director of Campus Security, and student Ashley Reeb were interviewed about the College’s Food for Fines program. ABC 27, WGAL and LNP covered the story.

Barbara Randazzo, dean of Elizabethtown College School of Continuing and Professional Studies at the Edward R. Murphy Center (SCPS), was featured in an article about her appointment to dean of SCPS. She also was mentioned in a Lancaster County hirings and promotions article.

Elizabethtown College was mentioned in a game show question on a December episode of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.”
